A very special literacy project...
Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 10:16AM I am working on something very special and exciting that will help promote Literacy in Canada. As a writer and avid reader, literacy is extremely important to me.
I can't imagine not being able to pick up a good book and read it. I can't imagine being unable to read a job application form or the directions on a food package. Yet many Canadians face this hardship daily, young and old.
With my Random Acts of Divineness campaign, I hope to change that by encouraging Canadians to learn to read, no matter their age.
